Implementation period: 2005-2007
NCSD was involved in the EU-financed project EASY-ECO, of the European Union’s Marie Curie Programme jointly implemented with 9 other institutions.
The objectives were:
- to disseminate theory and practical experience among European experts;
- to provide modular hands-on education in sustainability evaluation addressing young researchers;
- to increase capacities for sustainability evaluations, especially in the new EU Member States;
- to give contractors and evaluators an overview on evaluation methods and products available, increasing the market transparency;
- to promote networking and professional exchange among researchers and practitioners.
